Research & Development

With the aim of developing new products and creating new businesses in the polymer processing segment, Toyochem’s Advanced Polymer R&D lab is working to create new polymer materials and elemental technologies that will be the source of product differentiation, by utilizing and synchronizing our core polymer synthesis and coating technologies. Specifically, the lab is working on the development of materials and tech for the information and communication, environment and energy, and life science fields and that offer key traits of high heat resistance, high durability, high adhesion, biodegradability and water solubility. ・Toyo Ink Co., Ltd.

Technology Platform

  • “New Fields of Science” is a framework for acquiring new fields of science in addition to the core chemical field.“Application Technology” are technologies in the software field such as programming and systems design. The Toyo Ink Group's strength lies in the consistency of these technologies with its "analysis and manufacturing processes" as a framework of technologies that should be established to reflect information based on scientific evidence when proposing solutions to customers.
